Why parents keep buying a second one

Mess-free, forever-reusable

Thickened Oxford cloth, tightly woven so water sits on the surface instead of soaking through to your floor.

Just water

Water is the only ingredient

No paint, no ink, no chemicals. Fill a cup from the tap and hand over a brush.

3 minutes

Dries in about three minutes

The colour fades on its own and the cloth is blank again — ready before they've lost interest.

Rolls up

Rolls up, hangs anywhere

A wooden rod at each end. Hang it on a door, tape it to a wall, or roll it flat under the sofa.

No scrubbing

Nothing to scrub

Water beads on the surface and never reaches the carpet. Clean-up is putting the cup back.

Go on, get your hands wet

This is what it feels like

Drag across the panel. Colour appears where the water goes, then dries away and leaves it blank again — exactly like the real thing, only slower.

👆 Drag to paint

Three steps, no instructions needed

How it works

Hang it up

Unroll the cloth and hang it from the top rod — a door handle, a hook, a nail. The weighted bottom rod keeps it flat against the wall.

★★★★★

Bought it for a rainy half-term and it has not been rolled up since. The floor is still clean, which honestly I did not expect.

My four-year-old painted the same dinosaur eleven times in one afternoon. Eleven. No paint anywhere, no bath afterwards.

I was sceptical about water only, but the colour comes up properly dark and then just goes. No arguing about washing hands.

It hangs on the back of the kitchen door and it is the first thing both of them go to after school.

The two of them share it without a single argument, which on its own was worth the money.

Took it to my sisters for a birthday and every child had a turn. Rolled it up and brought it home clean.

Before you ask

Questions, answered

How long until the colour disappears?

Roughly three minutes in a normal room. Warmer or breezier and it goes faster; a thick puddle takes a little longer.

Does the water come through onto the wall or floor?

No. The cloth is thickened Oxford weave, so water sits on the surface and evaporates from there. A towel underneath is only for enthusiastic dippers.

What's in the box?

The cloth with a wooden rod at the top and bottom, plus a brush. All you add is a cup of tap water.

How big is it?

2m tall and 42cm wide — it hangs full-height on a door, and rolls up flat when you are done. One size, one price.

How do I clean it?

You don't. Nothing but water ever touches it. If it picks up dust, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry.
